The mass conversion system is a low-cost gasification and oxidation system in which both processes are carried out within the same vertical chamber. Like the BOS system, it oxidises at high temperature thus giving extremely clean emissions. It features a mechanical feed system and is ideally suited to large quantities of biomass or other consistent waste feedstock from 50 to 1000 tonnes per day. This system can be supplied with or without energy capture for the production of steam or electricity.
